My Story
Isn't it extremely difficult searching for an adequate moisturizer? Yea! It was for me too. Being a Southern migrant to the DMV area had its challenges and finding a good moisturizer was one of the most challenging.
My body was accustomed to moisture because of the humidity of the South, so this new climate had my skin peeling, cracking, and itching. A good moisturizer was necessary. It had to be one that wasn't too liquid; so liquid that I could literally pore it on my legs and watch it dry right in front me, and it couldn't be so thick that I'd gain bigger biceps just from rubbing it on my skin.
I needed something that balanced the two. I tried other shea butters, but they were more "whipped cream" than butter. The consistency of the butter still didn't balance for me.
So, what did I do? I decided to make my own. And, hence, ButtahCream! I've been making my shea butter for over 10 years and now I'm marketing it to you. I hope that it's as soothing, softening, and healing to your skin as it is to mine. Enjoy!
